Research and application on preparation of high purity fructooligsacchrides by simulate moving bed chromatography

Simulated moving bed chromatography ( SMB) was used for the continuous separation and purification of fructooligosaccharides with grade fructooligosaccharides ( FOS60) as matarials. The molecular sieve resin was used as packing and pure water as eluent.Monosaccharides disaccharide and fructooligosaccharides were separated with the best parameters and product purity reached 80.65% and 96.87%, and the recovery rate of fructooligosaccharides reached 80.48%.The product was high purity and high recovery rate.The process is easy operating, with low operation cost and suitable for industrial production.
