Separation, purification and structural analysis of active compound from jackfruit peel

  • To further explore the active ingredients of jackfruit peel, cycloartenone and cycloeucalenol were isolated from the fraction of ethyl acetate by using modern isolation techniques such as silica gel, thin-Layer chromatography and sephadex LH-20, and had been elucidated from 1H-NMR and 13C-NMR spectral data.This research will be useful for the further study of effective material basic of jackfruit, especially the characteristic composition of terpenoids.
