Structure characterizations of polysaccharide CBP3 from Clanis bilineata tsingtauica Mell

  • The structure characterizations of Clanis bilineata tsingtauica Mell polysaccharide were investigated.The studies showed that CBP3 was composed of seminose,glucose and galactose in a molar ratio of 27.89∶ 1∶ 3.16.The results showed that CBP3 may be a kind acidic polysaccharide containing carboxyl with- o- glycosidic linkages and β- glucopyranose between sugers and amino acids by means of several analysis methods,such as infrared scanning,H- NMR,β- elimination reaction,KI- I2 reaction,x- ray powder diffraction and scanning electron microscopy analysis,which had long side chains and more branches.CBP3 were amorphous materials with crystals partly.
