Abstract
It was aimed to optimize the ultrasonic extraction process of evodiamine and rutaecarpine from etradium ruticarpum. Single-factor experiments and response surface methodology were used to investigate the effect of process variables on the yield of evodiamine and rutaecarpine. The optimized extraction parameters were found at 35 times solvent,60% ethanol and 53 min extraction time. Under the optimized conditions, the experimental yield of evodiamine and rutaecarpine were 0.3989%±0.0015% and 0.7611%±0.0011%. Comparing with the predicted value, the relative error were 0.42% and 0.05% respectively. The results showed that the model was credible, and the ultrasound-assisted extraction process after optimized was applicable and could be used for guiding production practices.
