Research progress in mechanisms of jasmonates-induced resistance in fruits and vegetable

  • Jasmonic acid( JA) and its derivative methyl jasmonate collectively called jasmonates( JAs),which widely exist in tissues of fruits and vegetable,are plant growth regulators and signal numerators. They play a very important role in improving the quality of fruits and vegetable,forming the color,controlling ripening and senescence,and forming the resistance. This review was focused on the distribution,biosynthesis,signal pathway of JAs in fruits and vegetable and the research progress in physiological and biochemical effect of inner and exogenous JAs in fruits and vegetable.
