Research progress in heterologous expression of lipase genes in Pichia pastoris

Lipase,as a common industrial enzyme is widely used in food,cosmetics and other industrial fields which are closely related to our daily life.However,the high cost of its production and usage limits the further application to a certain extent.Heterologous expression of lipase genes in Pichia pastoris has become one of the methods to resolve this problem.This review introduced the heterologous expression of lipase genes in Pichia pastoris and the corresponding optimization strategies. Finally,the technology of lipase displaying on P. pastoris surface and its applications were summarized.
