  • Chinese farmed crocodile have a high nutritional quality, medical health care value and economic value.The rapid growth in the number of farmed crocodiles provides the basis for the development and utilization.Recent studies showed that the farmed crocodile meat was high in protein, but low in fat.The total amino acids in crocodile muscle protein were comprehensive.High content of unsaturated fatty acids present in muscle of farmed breeding crocodile were high in content.The muscle meat contained iron, zinc and calcium.In addition, farmed breeding crocodile contained a variety of functional components, it had important medicinal health care value.Sufficient studies in the edible and medicinal value provide references for the further developments of farmed crocodile market.
