Ultrasonic-microwave synergistic extraction of flavonoid compounds from propolis

  • The ultrasonic-microwave synergistic extraction was adopted to optimize the extraction process of the flavonoids from propolis.The optimum process based on the single factor and orthogonal test was as following:alcohol concentration 65%, solid-liquid ratio 1:15, extraction time 150s, microwave power 175W.Under these conditions, the content of flavonoids and extraction rate of propoils were 30.64% and 70.38%, respectively.Compared with other extraction methods, the ultrasonic-microwave synergistic extraction had obvious advantages in the extracting effect.
