Abstract
In order to study the growth parameters differences of different pathogenic Vibrio parahaemolyticus on Litopenaeus vannamei and other growth matrix (broth and salmon) . The growth curve of ATCC33847, F13, and Clinical Vibrio parahaemolyticus strain (CV) on Litopenaeus vannamei under 12℃ and 35℃ was tested and the growth data was fitted by different primary models to derive the growth parameters and to compare them with similar researches. It was revealed that Baranyi model fit the growth data of three pVp well. By comparing with similar researches, under 12℃ and 35℃, the μ max of pVp CV (serotype O3:K6) on Litopenaeus vannamei was higher than the μ max of pVp in broth and salmon. Different pVp showed different growth parameters under 12℃ in different growth matrix. It could be concluded that the influence from the variability of different bacterial strains or growth matrix on the growth parameters of microorganisms should be fully considered when predictive growth model was to be constructed and risk assessment that would be performed.
