Abstract:
Objective:The article investigated the effect of different ratios of safflower seed oil and flax seed oil extract on blood glucose in Ⅱ diabetic mice. Methods:A mouse model of Ⅱ type diabetes mellitus was established by using high fat and high sugar milk combined with chain urea adjuvant, the mice with successful modeling were randomly divided into 12 groups:normal group, positive control group(metformin group),model group, different ratio and different ratio of safflower seed oil, flaxseed oil extract group,10 per group. After continuous administration of 30 d,the glucose tolerance test was carried out,and the insulin level in mice was determined. The relative value of area(AUC),islet beta cell ability(HOMA-
β)and islet resistance index(HOMA-IR)under blood glucose curve in mice were obtained. Results:On the 20th day and the 30th day of the administration of different proportions of the test substances, the fasting blood glucose of type II diabetic mice were decreased, indicating that different proportions of the test substances have hypoglycemic effect; In the insulin level of type 2 diabetic mice, the serum insulin secretion level was higher in the 40% safflower oil and 60% linseed oil extract complex oil group(high, medium and low doses)compared with the model group(
P<0.05).,and the medium dose could significantly increase HOMA-
β(
P<0.01),and HOMA-IR was significantly reduced(
P<0.01).Conclusion:40% safflower seed oil and 60% flax seed oil extract compound oil group(medium dose)can improve the secretion function of islet beta cells in diabetic mice, reduce insulin resistance, improve the sensitivity of the body to insulin, and increase the efficiency of insulin promotion and utilization of glucose.
