Abstract:
In this experiment, the effects of different concentrations of apigenin and celery(root, stem, leaf)extracts on hyperlipidemia-induced hypertensive rat model combined with lipid metabolism were analyzed. The model rats were divided into model group, experimental group(apigenin, celery root, stem and leaf extract),administration control group, healthy rats were used as normal group, and experimental groups were given extracts from different parts of celery and apigenin according to the dose. The model group and the normal group were given direct drinking water. After 4 weeks of treatment, the changes of angiotensinI(AngI),angiotensinII(Ang II),aldosterone(ALD),renin activity(PRA),triglyceride(TG),high density lipoprotein(HDL-C),low density lipoprotein(LDL-C)and cholesterol(CHOL)content were measured in rat plasma. cardiac index(CMI)and myocardial value-added coefficient(MPI)were calculated, the therapeutic effect was comprehensively analyzed combined heart disease observation(HE staining). Results showed that, compared with the model group, extracts from different parts of celery could effectively reduce plasma PRA(
P<0.05)and decrease AngII(
P<0.05),and reduce arterial blood pressure. It could improve the abnormal blood lipid metabolism in rats and effectively increase the plasma HDL-C level, decrease the content of LDL-C,TG and CHOL,reduce CWI and MPI,so as to reduce the heart burden of rats caused by heart swelling, reduce myocardial cell edema and myocardial fiber breakage, and maintain the nuclear integrity of myocardial cells. Especially, the medicinal value of celery leaves was the most significant. The flavonoids in the celery extracts of various parts of celery were abundant, and the related biological activity mechanism had high potential research value.
