Abstract:
Objective:The nutritional value of black bean was improved by adding trace elements to germinate black bean and the effects of black bean germinated with trace elements on menopausal syndrome in female rats were also studied. Methods:Healthy female SD rats were used as experimental animals to prepare ovariectomized rat models. They were randomly divided into seven groups:Normal group, model group, positive drug group, raw bean group, clear water germination group,low-dose group with trace element germination and high-dose group with trace element germination. The effect of black soybean germination with trace elements on reproductive endocrine of ovariectomized female rats was investigated. Results:The content of vaginal keratinized epithelial cells in model group was significantly lower than that in normal group by 86%(
P<0.01),white blood cells content was significantly increased by 1233%(
P<0.01),epithelial cells was significantly decreased by 96%(
P<0.01),estradiol(E
2)was significantly increased by 68%(
P<0.05),follicle stimulating hormone(FSH)was significantly increased by 28%(
P<0.05).All above indicated that the model was established successfully. Compared with the model group, the content of keratinized epithelial cells in raw bean group, clear water group,high-dose group and low-dose group were significantly increased by 281%,362%,455% and 466%(
P<0.01). Compared with the model group, the content of E
2 in raw bean group was significantly increased by 85%(
P<0.01),and the FSH was significantly decreased by 12%(
P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the FSH of the high-dose group and the low-dose group with trace element germination was decreased by 10% and 14%,respectively(
P<0.05). Compared with the model group, the endometrial thickness of the high-dose group and the low-dose group was significantly thicker, the number of glands increased, the pathological proliferation decreased, and the inflammatory infiltration decreased. Compared with raw bean group, the contents of keratinized epithelial cells in clear water group,low-dose group and high-dose group were significantly increased by 21%,46% and 48%(
P<0.05). Compared with clear water group, the content of keratinized epithelial cells increased by 19% and 22% in both low-dose group and high-dose group(
P<0.05).There was no significant difference in keratinized epithelial cell content between high and low groups. Conclusion:The addition of trace elements to black soybean germinated significantly increased the content of keratinized epithelial cells, which could improve the symptoms of climacteric syndrome in female rats to a certain extent.
