Abstract: Aornia melanocarpa is a kind of precious tree with ecological value,ornamental value,edible value and medicinal value,which has a broad development prospect in China. This paper summarized related research literature of Aornia melanocarpa of recent ten years,which included propagative technique,cultivation technique,bioactive constituents and the related products development four aspects to introduce the domestic research progress of Aornia melanocarpa,the existing problems and the direction of future development were also explained in order to provide a certain theoretical basis and guidance for the follow-up researchers.
