Abstract:
To discover effects of different sizes of
Rosa roxbunghii pomace on blood lipids level and tissue mice. Then the mice were respectively fed with the soliquoid of
Rosa roxbunghii pomace through 300 mesh sieve and 60 mesh sieve by intragastric administration for 14 days. Subsequently, their serum total cholesterol(TC),triglyceride(TG)and high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C)content,and indexes about oxidation in heart, liver and kidney were determined. The result showed that after a fortnight’s feed,TC and TG content of 300-mesh sieve pomace treated groups fell significantly(
p<0.01)while HDL-C content rose markedly(
p<0.01)compared to the model group,in which high-dose group had the best potence. Meanwhile,it indicated by the determination of oxidative indexes that both sizes of the pomace could significantly enhance the total antioxidant capacity(T-AOC),glutathione peroxidase(GSH-PX)and superoxide dismutase(SOD)content and lower the malondialdehyde(MDA)level in heart, liver and kidney(
p<0.01). Therefore,the
Rosa roxbunghii pomace through 300-mesh sieve had an impressive effect in reducing TC,TG and elevating HDL-C content in hyperlipemia mice. Besides, both sizes of the
Rosa roxbunghii pomace could effectively improve the oxidative stress, which was good for relieving the symptoms of hypelipemia.
