Abstract: The Suaeda seeds Oil was extracted from Suaeda Seeds in Cangzhou coastal. Solvent extraction method was used, with petroleum ether(60~90℃)as the extraction agent, oil extraction rate as index. The particle size,liquid-soild ratio and extraction time were optimized by the orthogonal test and the response surface method. The independent T test was performed on the above two methods. The results showed that the oil extraction rate difference was not significant in the optimum process of the two experimental methods. The optimum process parameters for orthogonal test optimization were as follows:particle size of 100 mesh,liquid-soild ratio of 20:1 (mL:g)and extraction time of 150 min. Under the optimized conditions, the yield of Suaeda seeds oil was 25.13%. The optimum process parameters for the response surface method were as follows:particle size of 100 mesh,liquid-soild ratio of 21:1 (mL:g)and extraction time of 128 min. Under the optimized conditions, the yield of Suaeda seeds oil was 25.12%. The physicochemical properties of Suaeda seeds oil were analyzed. The results were as follows:the saponification value of 199.09 mg KOH/g,the iodine value of 141.58 g I/100 g,the acid value of 2.00 mg KOH/g and the peroxide value of 2.53 mmol/kg,all these were in line with the standard of edible vegetable oil. It proved that the Suaeda seeds oil could be used to develop the health edible oil. The results provided a theoretical basis for the further exploitation and utilization of Suaeda salsa.
