Abstract:
The method was developed for the determination of 10 organic acids including oxalic, tartaric, quininic, malic, ascorbic, latic, acetic, citric, succinic and fumaric acid by reversed phase high performance liquid chromatography. The organic acid in Xinjiang wild apricot ( XWA) was extracted by ultrasonic using 60% methyl alcohol. The separation was performed on a Inertsil ODS-SP C
18 column ( 4.6 mm × 250 mm) at 30 ℃, mobile phase consisted of methyl alcohol- ( NH

4 ( p H2.4) ( 3∶ 97, v∶ v) at folw rate of 0.5 m L·min
-1.The response signal was detected at 210 nm.The result showed that 10 organic acids chromatagraphic peak was obtained with good separation. The recovery was in the range of 93.20% ~ 108.26% and the relative standard deviation ( RSD) less 3%, the limit of detection was in the range of 0.01
0.73 μg/m L, the limit of quantiation was 0.03
2.39 μg/m L.The method of extraction on organic acid in XWA indicates that ultrasonic extraction is more convenient than reflux.
