Abstract: Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge was unique woody oil plants in China,the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge oil not only could be used as a senior cooking oil,but also could be used as the biofuel. In this paper the main ingredients and efficacy of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge were reviewed. The composition,efficacy,current application situation and extraction methods of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge oil also were discussed.Finally,the article predicted the development and application of the Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge oil in the future. This paper would provide certain reference for the scientific research of Xanthoceras sorbifolia Bunge in the future.
