Abstract:
A method was established for the simultaneous determination of 10 species of fluorescent whitening agents(FWA52,FWA135,FWA184,FWA185,FWA199,FWA236,FWA367,FWA368,FWA378 and FWA393) migration in edible oil by high performance liquid chromatography- fluorescence detector( HPLC- FLD). The target compounds the edible oil samples were cleaned up by gel permeation chromatography(GPC),used Eclipse XDB-C18 column,taken tetrahydrofuran and 5 mmol/L ammonium acetate as mobile phase,and detected by the fluorescence detector. The results showed that to determine 10 kinds of fluorescent whitening agents in edible oil by this method,the detection limit were better than 0.1 mg/kg. The liner relationships of 10 kinds of fluorescent whitening agents in the range of 0.1 ~2 mg/kg were good,the relative modular were better than0.997,the recoveries were between 62.6% ~99.3% for 0.1,0.5 mg/kg levels,the relatively standard deviations(RSDs) were between 2.9%~11.0%. The proposed method was simple,accurate,sensitive for determination of FWAs migration in edible oil.
