Abstract:
Objective:In order to isolation and identification of strain of producing green pigment. Methods:The microbial strains of producing pigment were isolated from soil by method with plate coating, biochemical and morphological characteristics and 16 S r DNA gene sequence analysation. Results:An actinomycete, named t9,was isolated from a soil sample in the College of Bioengineering,Sichuan University of Science and Engineering. It produced grayish-white aerial mycelium and green substrate mycelium on Gause 's synthetic agar. The results showed that the 16 S r DNA gene sequence of the train t9 shared the identity 99% with that of Streptomyces
murinus
NBRC
12799(T),the phylogenetic tree was derived with NJ. Conclusion:The strain t9 was identified as Streptomyces
murinus from its morphological andcultural characteristics and the 16 S r DNA gene sequence.
