多酚类化合物电离辐射防护研究进展

The progress of radioprotective effect of polyphenol compounds aganist ionizing radiation

  • 摘要: 电离辐射能直接和间接造成细胞和动物损伤,导致细胞膜脂质过氧化、DNA损伤(碱基氧化、单链或双键断裂、染色体交联和基因组不稳定)、蛋白质羰基化、甚至于细胞或动物死亡。多酚类化合物是一类植物次级代谢产物,存在于几乎所有的植物中,且种类繁多。大量的研究发现多酚类化合物具有电离辐射防护效应,能够降低电离辐射造成的各种氧化损伤。其防护机理在于:改善电离辐射引起的氧化损伤,改善免疫损伤,降低炎症反应,稳定基因组DNA和激活抗凋亡通路,等。本文主要论述了电离辐射损伤机理,几类多酚化合物辐射防护机理的研究进展,以其对多酚化合物和其他天然产物的辐射防护研究起到指导意义。 

     

    Abstract: Ionizing radiation could directly and indirectly cause cells and animals damage,lead to cell membrane lipid peroxidation,DNA damages(base oxidation,single or double chain splitting,chromosome crosslinking and genome instability),protein carbonylation,even death. Polyphenol compounds was a kind of plant secondary metabolites,exists in almost all the plants,and varieties. A large number of studies have found that polyphenol compounds have radioprotective effect aganist ionizing radiation,can reduce various oxidative damages caused by ionizing radiation. The protection mechanism were followed by improving oxidative damages,improving immune injuries,reducing inflammation,stabling genomic DNA and activing antiapoptotic pathways,and so on.This article mainly reviewed the ionizing radiation damage mechanism,and the research progress of radiation protection mechanism of polyphenols,in order to have guiding significance to the radiation protection studies of polyphenols and other natural products.
