Abstract:
Objective: Single sugar was extracted, separated and purified from corn-cob waste after the extraction of xylitol, the process technology of preparing L- arabinose was optimized through acid hydrolysis from corn- cob waste.Methods: Acid hydrolysis and ethanol precipitation was used to separate and purify L- arabinose, and response surface methodology was used to optimize the process conditions of purifing L- arabinose.Conclusion:The best purification process condition got through response surface analysis was as follows: sulfuric acid concentration was 6.00%, sulfuric acid∶corncob waste was 4.00∶1, hydrolysis temperature was 100.00℃, hydrolysis time was 2.50h; under this condition, L-arabinose extraction quantity was 20.86μg·mL- 1.
