偶联剂改性白炭黑工艺条件优化
Optimization of process condition of silica white modified by coupling agents

摘要: 采用硅烷偶联剂KH-550、KH-560、KH-570和钛酸酯偶联剂对白炭黑进行表面改性,以提高无机材料的表面疏水性。在单因素实验的基础上,通过正交实验,考察不同钛酸酯比例、改性温度和搅拌时间对白炭黑表面改性效果。结果表明,钛酸酯偶联剂改性效果最好,优化的条件组合为:钛酸酯浓度60%、改性温度100℃,改性时间45min,在此实验条件下,活化指数为99.75%、吸油值为196.0mL/100g;扫描电镜研究表明,钛酸酯偶联剂能够降低颗粒团聚程度。该法可以使白炭黑表面键合有机官能团,增加疏水性,改善白炭黑在有机介质中的分散程度,有机改性效果良好。Abstract: In order to improve the surface hydrophobicity of inorganic material, silica white was modified by the silane coupling agent KH-550, KH-560, KH-570 and ester titanate coupling agent. Based on single factor experiment, the effect of proportion of titanate, temperature and mixing time on the surface modification of silica white was analysed by orthogonal experiment. The results showed that ester titanate coupling agent had the best result of modification. When the concentration of titanate was 60%, modification temperature was 100℃and the mixing time was 45min, activation index should increases to 99.75% and oil absorption value should decrease to 196.0mL/100g. Results of canning electron microscopy (SEM) showed that ester titanate coupling agent could decrease the aggregation of the silica white. Silica white particles were successfully modified with its organic functional groups on the surface, the hydrophobic property and the dispersion in organic solvent of silica white were improved.
