Abstract:
As this respect, the inhibitory effect of EEW for Penicillium citrinum, Rhizopus stolonifer, Botryis cinerea, Fusarium oxysporum, Alternaria were evaluated using mycelium growth rate and spore germination rate methods. The minimum inhibitory concentration (MIC) and minimal bactericidal concentration (MBC) were also assessed. The results showed that EEW could significantly inhibit the mycelium growth and spore germination of tested fungus. The antimicrobial activity of the extracts was shown by the samples (20mg/mL) , the mycelium growth and spore germination inhibition rate and the mycelium growth inhibition rate of four pathogens were all higher than 88%. Different concentrations had different activities to the same pathogenic fungus (p<0.05) . The EC50 values of EEW against the mycelium growth were 4.6384, 10.2419, 11.7834, 8.3486 and 9.4516mg/mL, spore germination of tested fungus were 9.8142, 11.6084, 17.2737, 10.1965 and 8.2892mg/mL, respectively.
