Abstract: In Canada, functional food is known as Natural Health Product, is currently one of the few countries in the world that have the clear legal provisions. The management of Natural Health Product in Canada, as from the category of Natural Health Product, related laws and regulations of its management, the application of product licenses and marketing, evidence of safety and efficiency, labeling and packaging was reviewed in this paper. The management of Natural Health Products in Canada could help with the related laws and regulations of functional food in China, as well to provide certain reference for functional food in our country could easily get into Canada market.
