Abstract:
With the residue after abstracting flavonoids from the tarocco blood orange peel as material, and with the pectin as target product, the predictive polynomial quadratic equations model of the extracting technological conditions of the pectin by microwave method was builded. Four extraction parameters including the solid-liquid ratio, microwave time, microwave power, and the pH were optimized by using Box-Behnken central composite design and response surface methodology based on single factore investigation for achieving maximum the petin extraction rate. Optimal technological conditions were solid-liquid ratio 1 ∶50, microwave time 2.50min, the microwave power 250W and the pH1.00. Under these conditions, the extraction rate was30.875%, the relative error was 0.91%, and predictive value was 30.8897%.It indicated that the experimental model was instructive in the experiment, and provided the theoretical basis and experimental method for the comprehensive utilization of the residue of the blood orange peel.
