Abstract:
In vivo digestion and juvenile animal growth experiments for goat milk formula powders were conducted, and whole goat milk powders as well as cow milk formula powders was used for comprison. In vivo digestibility of protein, body weight, length, viscera weight of SD rats were measured along with energy efficiency, protein efficiency ratio, food utilization rate of goat milk formula powders. The result showed that in vivo digestibility of protein for goat milk formula powders at 4h after feeding were significantly higher than those of cow milk formula powders and whole goat milk powders (p < 0.05) , and in vivo digestion of protein for goat milk formula powders groups were above 95%.Visceral organs of SD rats in goat milk formula powders group developed normally, and body weight and length was 216.47g and 23.56cm respectively in this group, which were significantly higher than those of other two control groups (p < 0.05) .Energy efficiency, protein efficiency ratio, food utilization rate of goat milk formula powders were 3.27g /418.4kJ, 1.26 and 17.03%, all of which were much higher than those of other two control groups (p < 0.05) .Therefore, proteins in goat milk formula could be absorbed easilier, and the goat milk formula powders could effectively promote the growth of young animals.
