Abstract:
Variations of body composition and nutritive components of muscle between young farmed Chinese sucker, Myxocyprinus asiaticus was analyzed with GB methods. The result showed that the 29 months young M. asiaticus’s content of crude protein was the highest in the body between different ages, which had no significant difference with 5 months (p>0. 05) , while the 17 months was the lowest. Contrary to the ash, the highest content of crude fat was 17 months fish, while the lowest was 29 months. The content of muscle, crude protein, crude fat and crude ash in the muscles gradually became lower and lower from 17 months to 41 months. The total of amino acid in muscle of 29 months young M. asiaticus was highest, while the lowest in 17 months without significant difference (p>0. 05) to 29 months, the 41 months young fish has highest content of essential amino acids. Glu was the highest among different ages, Cys was the lowest. According to nutrition evaluation in amino acids score (AAS) and chemical score (CS) , the first limited amino acid and essential amino acid index (EAAI) from 17 to 41 months young fish was Leu, Thr, Thr and Val and 55. 38, 68. 19, 69. 04, respectively. In conclusion, the study results indicated that the value of the muscle of 29 months M. asiaticus higher than 17 months and 41months.
