Abstract:
Staphylococcus aureus is one of the most important food-borne pathogens.Recently, Real-time Flurescent Quantitive Polymerase Chain Reaction (Real-time PCR) technology as a modern method was exploited to detect food-borne pathogens for its specific and sensitive attributes.In this paper, the principle and classification of Real-time PCR technology was introduced briefly, and its application in detecting Staphylococcus aureus was reviewed.Also, the application of this technique in S.aureus detection was prospected.
