Abstract:
The volatile components of galbanum oil were identified by gas chromatography/Time-of-Flight mass spectrometry. The peak area normalization method was used to calculate each component relative content and determined the suitable chromatographic column conditions for galbanum oil through two different chromatographic column. With the MS library search, 68 compounds were confirmed by using reference literature and retention index of ESO database comparison.50 components were identified in Polarity column.Beta-myrcene (23.63%) , beta-phellandrene (8.47%) , (3E, 5E) -undecatriene (7.42%) , bulnesol (7.41%) , methyl carvacrol (6.71%) , gualol (6.51%) were the main components. In addition, 39 components were determined in weak Polarity column.Alpha-cadinol (21.83%) , gualol (16.18%) , terpinyl acetate (9.12%) , bulnesol (8.72%) , para-cymene (5.56%) , bornyl acetate (3.86%) were the main components.Among them, 27 kinds of components were both detected on two kinds of different polarity column.
