Abstract:
In the present manuscript, extractives, ashes and dryness loss of Flos Chrysanthemi Indici, and its etheric extracts and 60% ethanolic extracts were analyzed using normal methods and the test descriptions issued in Pharmacopoeia; meanwhile, nocuous elements, organochlorine and pyrethroid pesticides in this three samples were determined by FAAS, AFS, GFAAS and GC.The concentrations of dryness loss, total ash, water-insoluble ash and acid-insoluble ash in etheric extracts were lower than in 60% ethanolic extracts, the result of sulfated ash was actually opposite; nocuous elements and pesticide residues in etheric extracts and 60% ethanolic extracts were in line with Green standards of medicinal plants and preparations for foreign trade and economy ( WM /T2-2004) ; these argued that the two extracts would be safety when used as food additives.
