Abstract:
Objective : To explore the anti-fatigue effect of Phascolosoma esculenta on mice . Methods:Phascolosoma esculenta powder for suspension was prepared by tissue homogenate, freeze-drying and sifted through a 80 mesh, then added distilled water. Through mouse swimming tests after feeding powder for suspension, the body weight and the swimming time, liver glycogen and muscle glycogen content, blood urea nitrogen content and the removing speed of lactate were detected. Results:This experiment showed that Phascolosoma esculenta powder for suspension was able to prolong swimming time of mice, increase liver glycogen and muscle glycogen content, decrease serum urea nitrogen content and serum lactic acid content after swimming with 9.69%, 38.22%, respectively. Conclusion:The results suggested that Phascolosoma esculenta had significant anti-fatigue effect on mice.
