Abstract:
Though high-protein diet had negative effects on human health,there had no system research around the world. This paper summarized research achievements about the effect of high protein diet on the human health in recent years,which revealed that long-term high-protein diet(≥1. 85 g·kg-1·d-1)had negative impacts on human health which included reducing the body’s immune function,kidney damage,osteoporosis,oxidative stress and accelerated aging on human health. Understanding the negative impact of excessive protein intake on human health was meaningful to domestic dietary improvement and controlling the noninfectious chronic disease.
